MIX IT UP CHALLENGE #13

Hello There My Crafty Friends,
I want to let you all know there's a new challenge starting today at...
The theme for this challenge is...
Anything Goes with a Twist - Emboss Resist

I had no idea what 'emboss resist' was so searched around and found some beautiful cards made that way. I kinda used this one for the idea to make my cards.
They are a lot of fun to make. :)

...Here's one of the cards...
...For This Project - Step By Step...
Cut a piece of yellow cardstock the size I wanted to use.
Used the stamping tool and the VersaMark stamp pad to stamp the images/text.
Poured embossing powder onto the images/text, took the excess off.
Used the blending tool with a circular motion to add three ink colors onto the paper.
Started with wild rose ink and went all over the paper.
Then used fresh lavender ink on the left bottom of the paper, to the right and up to the top.
Next I used celery stick ink on the left bottom up to the center side of the paper.
Then went over the left side and middle of the paper with wild rose ink again.
Used a paper napkin to wipe the embossing powder off the images and text.
Colored inside the flower lines with colored pencils.
Made the card base with the same yellow cardstock.
Cut a piece of yellow marbled cardstock, used the crimper tool on it, taped it on the card.
Then taped the images/text paper onto the center of the card.

Used the blending tool with a circular motion to add two distress ink colors onto the paper.
Started with tattered rose distress ink and went all over the paper.
Then used tea dye distress ink all over the paper.
Used a paper napkin to wipe the embossing powder off the image and text.
Made the card base with white cardstock.
Cut a piece of orange cardstock, used the crimper tool on it, taped it on the card.
